Seeds For The Future Project
Seeds For The Future emerged from an extracurricular project on the subject of sustainability, which is present in the Curriculum Proposal for Teaching the English Language for High School and in content and activities for Elementary School II. We are always studying renewable and non-renewable natural resources, healthy food, water resources, etc. From there, through classroom discussions, we came to the conclusion that our project would be to work around a prototype of a sustainable house created by students from Youth and Adult Education and Regular Education and the construction of an automated vegetable garden. low cost with the use of an Arduino. Other activities would revolve around this construction, such as making recyclable paper, rescuing native plants and using natural resources to build a historic garden outside the classroom. The idea is to "sell the idea" to other schools and the school community through workshops. The activities in English involve social issues and always rescue the study of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, so that the entire project takes place in a well-contextualized way, with the collaboration of teachers from different disciplines and employees, so that the school becomes a of bilingual learning.<br>
