Considering the potential of the region where the city of Nova Campina is located, Ecotourism constitutes a source of green, solidary and creative economy, bringing new possibilities for professional performance combined with entrepreneurship.
From this perspective, it is worth emphasizing the need for skills that provide good communication and oral and written expression in the mother tongue, as well as the need to acquire the English language.
English is configured as a lingua franca, a concept that defines it as a language of contact in a multilingual group. In view of this, it is essential to sensitize and prepare students for responsible tourism practices, in addition to making them aware of the importance of knowing and valuing the city's local identity, seeking solutions for its development and strengthening as a tourist city, within the scope of the green economy. , supportive and creative, strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of students.
Goals
- Promote knowledge and skills for the development of tourist activities;
- Recognize the importance of tourism as a source of income and local development;
- Present possibilities of action in the labor market;
- Stimulate the appreciation of the green, solidary and creative economy;
- Exercise problem-solving skills;
- Develop strategies for management plans to develop local tourism;
- Foster digital entrepreneurship applied to tourism products;
- Analyze the concept of accessible tourism using the English language to resolve misunderstandings, express opinions and clarify information through paraphrases or justifications;
- Use appropriate linguistic resources and repertoire to inform/communicate/talk about the future: plans, forecasts, possibilities and probabilities.
- Use different languages - verbal (oral or visual-motor, such as Libras, and written), body, visual, sound and digital - as well as knowledge of artistic, mathematical and scientific languages, to express themselves and share information, experiences, ideas and feelings in different contexts and produce meanings that lead to mutual understanding.
- Valuing the diversity of knowledge and cultural experiences and appropriating knowledge and experiences that allow them to understand the relations of the world of work and make choices aligned with the exercise of citizenship and their life project, with freedom, autonomy, critical awareness and responsibility.
