This is our story
Trying to insert digital culture in a rural community, lacking technological resources, efficient connection networks after facing a pandemic crisis very serious which made schools rethink their role with more attention. The change the attitude towards what we had been going through required a much more interesting role for schools, especially public schools in Brazil. Our school is now a full-time school with significant changes across the curriculum. The move to another segment will become more complete, contemplating basic education and offering workshops that encourage creativity, the use of technological tools and the leading role of our students. With the new proposal, teachers are already undergoing training to help autonomous, motivated and researcher students who make their learning environment real, practical with teachers who encourage them in their future choices. A school that brings environmental, social and citizen awareness to help its community. Thus, we are working for the school be an example of good deeds (or good seeds). Thanks to Ciena Solutions Challenge we believe that we have already started in advance hoping to have our makerspace this year to share even more our ideas.
